Lehman women win the CUNYAC, earn the automatic bid. Lightning were #3 seed in cunyac tournament, beat baruch, 52-51, to advance.
Alvernia defeats Immaculata 70-55 to win the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference men’s title.
Ramapo College beats New Jersey City University 83-81 in overtime to win the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC).
I don’t think I’ll ever see a team collapse as bad as Baruch did against Lehman. Baruch was held without a FG for the last 12:33 of the game. Their players tensed up and played the last 10 minutes of the game scared. It’s a shame too for the CUNY conference. Lehman is a good team with an aggressive defense, but it would be a huge upset if Lehman wins a game in the tournament. Baruch at least played some ranked teams close this year and might have been able to pull an upset in the tournament.
Here is the list of teams in the most recent regional rankings who will need at-large bids to get in the tournament.

King’s beat DeSales in the MAC-Freedom Championship game, according to the scoreboard
Wash U’s women are in with their win over Chicago. They get the UAA’s auto-bid by virtue of the tiebreaker over NYU. Wash U and NYU split against each other and each beat Brandeis twice, but Wash U gets the auto bid by virtue of their 2-0 record against Rochester(tied for 3rd), while NYU went 1-1.
St. Lawrence is in with a win over Hamilton 65-64
The Lake Forest women will not be needing an at large bid this year. They beat Carroll 64-56 this afternoon to win the Midwest Conference (MWC).
Wooster is in with a beatdown of Ohio Wesleyan. 86-51
Cortland women won the SUNYAC title Saturday afternoon (59-50 win vs. Oswego)
st. joes of maine beats lincolin in independent tourney.. does this knock lincoln out of pool b consideration and put st. joes of maine in there??
Not really. It’s not a regional game and St. Joe’s is far down the pecking order in terms of winning percentage and the QOW index.
