Dmac/Gordon Mann,
On his Mid-Atlantic report, Gordon said he has a men’s Top 25 ballot, but not a women’s; why not both?
Short answer is that we already have enough Mid-Atlantic women’s voters. Long answer is that it takes a lot of time to vote in the Top 25 and we really try to keep from having one person vote in both polls. Only I and one other person do.
Dave asked me during my segment if Rochester’s slim 4 vote advantage over Illinois Wesleyan for the No. 1 women’s spot would hold up after IWU trounced Fontbonne and Rochester was idle. The razor thin margin actually expanded, albeit ever so slightly, as IWU “dropped” from 595 votes to 593, meaning someone(s) dropped them a spot or two.
