With some conference tournaments starting today, a few familiar men’s teams could face the end of their season.
Williams travels to Tufts in a battle of regionally ranked teams in the NESCAC tournament’s first round. Two teams previously ranked in the top 25, Randolph-Macon and Hampden-Sydney, enter the ODAC tournament badly needing wins. Read what one CUNYAC aficionado has to say about the conference quarterfinals, which tip off today in Staten Island.
Out west Claremont-Mudd-Scripps can write a happy ending to their SCIAC season. Miles Taylor (pictured) and Stagg Nation can clinch the conference title and its bid into the men’s tournament by beating No. 15 Occidental.

guys: i love d3 hoops and d3 football!! tell me again where to find the current quality of wins index–i am hpu grad and umhb parent–asc west and i am curious about our texas chances of any men’s or especially women’s teams getting pool c bids–thanks again–this is great. i have read daily dose for a while but never participated.
QOWI doesn’t have a permanent home on D3hoops.com because we can only calculate it accurately when we have all regional games reported.
The most recent update is through Thursday night’s games: Men and Women.
I expect the ASC will get a Pool C bid, possibly two, in women’s basketball. I believe the only way the ASC men will get one is if Mississippi College is upset again in the tournament.
Correction to what’s above, by the way, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps cannot clinch the SCIAC tonight. They can go up two games with two to play.
My apologies. I should’ve noticed that CMS is playing for the split and not the sweep.
