ATN Podcast 201: Big names take the field

Week 2 is here, and Pat and Keith are ready to tackle it. It starts with three Top 10 teams who are taking the field for the first time this season, and for one in particular, No. 2 Mary Hardin-Baylor, there are some new faces, some missing faces and some big questions. If you didn’t read the news in the offseason, you’ll want to listen to this podcast to get caught up with last year’s runner-up.

No. 6 Linfield plays its first game this week, as does No. 10 Hardin-Simmons, and Keith puts Pat on the spot about those three team. Meanwhile, the guys run down six key games, give six one-line previews of other games and they allow fate to pick one more to preview.

Also, Pat talks with Millikin coach Dan Gritti about his team’s Week 1 performance, his team’s hopes for the rest of the season and whether the CCIW is really as good as advertised. That and more on our Week 2 preview podcast. The Around the Nation Podcast is a regular conversation between Pat Coleman and Keith McMillan and guests covering the wide range of Division III football.
