Randolph-MaconEvery big game had a pair of sets of implications, and with playoff-type teams picking up loss No. 2, the landscape changes a little bit. Plus, Keith McMillan talks about what it’s like to play — and lose — a big game in the middle of the season, then have to come back and play the next week. Pat and Keith discuss it in this week’s Around the Nation Podcast.

  1. Agreed that the Purple Raiders have been coached-up. With a young team, this is one of those years when LK’s mastery of coaching will be more obvious. You can bet that the level of intensity on the practice field and in the film room is as high as what’s been seen on the sidelines. Whether or not this is a championship season for Mount Union, the team we see in late November will be far different from the team we saw at Oshkosh.
