November 3 will be a fun date for fans in Illinois. It is the day that the Fighting Illini will hang their banner as National Runners-Up. The team on the visiting bench, Illinois Wesleyan. If the Illini are a preseason Top 25 (which is almost assured), this will probably be in the ESPN highlites. Hopefully IWU can put up a good fight and stay within a couple of dozen points. I never thought I’d want to wear green and orange at the same time. The Assembly Hall will look like an Irish Flag

Schreiner and Texas Lutheran (ASC-West travel partners) would be naturals to host a tip-off tourney where the teams can fly into San Antonio.

There’s also Virginia Wesleyan (VWC) vs. Christopher Newport and Methodist.

Nut quite sure why Lynchburg’s schedule hasn’t been sent in yet since the entire schedule (scrimmages included) are available on Lynchburg’s website.

I sent out the request for schedules at the end of July. It seems like this year schedules have come in more slowly than ever …
